A uniform workshop in Istanbul since 1997
Uniforms Fashion is the uniform-manufacturing brand of Cardiff Tekstil. For nearly three decades we have designed and produced professional uniforms in-house, from an integrated headquarters, production floor, and showroom in Sultangazi, Istanbul.
From a passage store to an integrated workshop
The path from Furtex, a single fabric stall, to the Uniforms Fashion workshop in Sultangazi, Istanbul.
- 1997
A store in a passage
Commercial life began with a small 8 m² store in an Istanbul passage, trading fabric by buying and selling under the name Furtex.
- 1998
Into manufacturing
Trading alone could not deliver the results or the competitiveness we wanted, so the first manufacturing trials started with a single ball of fabric.
- 1999
Controlled growth
We strengthened our financing to speed up production, moved from the passage to a main-street address, and grew output steadily with a snowball effect.
- 2000
The Cardiff Tekstil name
We began building our own trademarks under the Cardiff Tekstil name. The company became known in the market and drew the attention of customers and competitors alike.
- 2005
A main administrative centre
Our current headquarters joined the company. Warehouse, cutting, model house, and manufacturing areas were rebuilt for a modern technical infrastructure, bringing every operation under one roof.
- 2006-2008
New sectors and retail
We invested abroad in hospitality and retail merchandising, widening the business beyond uniform manufacturing.
- 2009-2011
Foreign trade
Foreign trade joined the company, working with suppliers such as Ford Otosan, Borusan, and SIF on construction machinery and related equipment.
- 2012-2023
Uniforms Fashion and Carlo Potti
We produced professional uniforms under the Uniforms Fashion brand and men's ready-to-wear under Carlo Potti, turning decades of craft into finished garments for our business partners.
- 2024
Sultangazi headquarters and showroom
Today we host our customers from an integrated headquarters, production floor, and showroom in Sultangazi, Istanbul.
